Predatory mites (Stratiolaelaps scimitus) are a soil dwelling mite used to control Fungus Gnats, Pupating Thrips, Root Weevils, Root Aphids, Pathogenic Nematodes, and many more. This product is fast and easy- apply to your growing media by simply sprinkling contents onto the growing media. Can be used in: potted plants; house plants; agriculture; horticulture; landscapes; home garden; lawn. This product will not be effective unless the pest has a soil dwelling stage. Safe for humans and pets!

Recommended dosage:

1 teaspoon per small pot (<4 gallon) if using preventatively. 1 tablespoon if using curatively. Double that dosage for larger pots.

• Not recommended for fast control of a severe fungus gnat infestation. Use preventatively or to cure healthy plants with a minor fungus gnat infestation. Use beneficial nematodes for a fast knockdown and follow up with these mites to give lasting control and protection. If using these mites to cure an established fungus gnat infestation, it can take up to 6 weeks to eliminate the fungus gnats.
